Personal Bill Pay allows you to pay all your bills from a single, user-friendly website with just a few clicks of the mouse.

Features of Personal Bill Pay include:

  • Pay an unlimited number of bills
  • Control when individual bills get paid
  • Schedule one-time or recurring payments

To sign up, sign in to your Personal Online Banking account and at the bottom of the page you will see a link to your accounts that may be used with Bill Pay. Email and Text Alerts

Account Alerts are a powerful way to take control of the flow of your money. Using either email or text messaging you can quickly setup alerts for:

  • low balances
  • debit card activity
  • check posting
  • loan payment receipts
  • and More…
To create a new Account Alert:
  1. Sign in to your account and select the “eAlerts” tab found at the top of your online banking homepage. You can login through the link found at the top of this page.
  2. Choose either Checking Events, Savings Events, or Loan Events.
  3. Select the “Setup New Alert” link and choose a category and type of alert. You’ll then be asked to provide or confirm your contact information (email or mobile number).
  4. You’ll be taken back to a summary of events setup. From here you can create additional events, delete ones you no longer want, or edit existing alerts.

Once the Account Alert has been fulfilled you will receive a message via the method indicated during set up. Please keep in mind the Account Alert System completes its processing with our nightly update, so you will not receive your notification until the morning after the activity has occurred. Notifications are sent before 7 AM CST the next morning.

Mobile Banking

Our iOS and Android mobile applications allow you to perform many of the same tasks that you would with Online Banking. You’re also able to access your account through your mobile browser and through text messaging.

Mobile Banking is the ultimate on-demand service. You can securely access your account information from any mobile phone with text messaging, mobile web access or through a downloadable app. You can download the app in either the Apple App Store for the iPhone® or Google Play for Android®.

You have the convenience of viewing your account balances, viewing recent transactions, or transferring funds between accounts – all from your mobile phone. To pay your bills from your mobile phone you must be a Bill Pay subscriber, and the payees should already have been set up.

Mobile Deposit

Make deposits up to $5,000 per day… anytime, anywhere… with the Capitol Bank Mobile Banking app. It’s fast, easy and convenient when time doesn’t allow you to stop into the bank.

A couple of tips when using Mobile Deposit:

  • Before logging into the Mobile Deposit app, close all other apps running in the background on your mobile phone.
  • Sign / endorse the back of check, and label it “For mobile deposit only”.
  • The MICR line – numbers on bottom of check – should be readable.
  • Destroy check after confirmation that the deposit has been posted.

Popmoney offers person-to-person (P2P) and account-to-account (A2A) payments using Mobile Banking.

You must be enrolled in Bill Pay to use Popmoney, which is a personal payments service that enables you to send and receive money to those you know, or owe, in as little as one business day. Payments are sent securely and electronically using an email address or mobile phone number. Using Popmoney discourages the sharing of private account information in a social environment, as well as eliminating the inconvenience of sending a check or going to the ATM.
