How do I sign up to use ePay (bill pay product)?

Log onto eBanking and select the checking account you will be using for paying bills.  Choose the Bill Payment tab to register for ePay.

Who do I call if I have questions?

ePay has several support options available. An Open Chat option with a ePay representative is available from 8:00 am-11:00 pm to help you with questions. Click on the green “chat open” button near the top right of the screen to activate this feature. Another support option is to contact ePay Customer Service directly at 1-855-817-2650.

How do I change my E-mail address?

Log onto Internet Banking with your Access ID and Password. Access your Bill Pay account, select "My Profile", click on view personal information, enter your new email address, and click "save changes." Remember to contact Capitol Bank to update your e-mail address for services directly through the bank.

How do I pay a bill?

Log onto Internet Banking with your Access ID and Password. Access your Bill Pay account. Select "ePay".  The system will take you to the Bill Payment screen - select "Add a Bill" and follow the prompts.

What kind of payments can I make with ePay?

You can pay a bill, pay a person, transfer funds to another financial institution, send a donation or send a check.

What type of features does ePay offer?

The ability to establish single, reoccurring, or multi payments, a scheduling calendar, E-mail or text message alerts, category tracking, and a variety of other options. Please view the on-line demo.

How much does ePay cost?

Capitol Bank's Personal ePay services are free of charge.  Fees do apply for POP Money, external bank transfers and rush payments.

What are the bill payment non-processing days?

ePay’s processing schedule follows the Federal Reserve processing schedule. Payments will not be processed on federal holidays. These holidays include: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.

Please plan your bill payments accordingly.

Will my ePay account become inactive if I do not use it?

No, your account will not become inactive, however if you are no longer interested in using the ePay service, please call (608) 836-1616 so we can stop your service and eliminate any monthly fee.

What is the payment schedule?

You may schedule your payment with no additional charge as late as the day before the due date.** The funds will be withdrawn from your account at Capitol Bank on the same day you receive credit with your Payee. If a last minute payment is needed, you can schedule your payment on the same day for an additional fee of $9.95 for electronic rush and $14.95 to rush a check. If a payment is being made by check, please continue to allow sufficient time for the check to be delivered to your Payee by its due date. Your money will be withdrawn from your account on the day the check clears, just like a personal check.
**In order for a payment to be processed the same day, it must be scheduled prior to the cut-off time of 9:00 PM CST.
