The award recognizes up-and-coming innovators, influencers, and civic servants that represent the future of community banking. Candidates were judged on character, leadership, community involvement, and innovation.
Capitol Bank is proud to announce that Justin Hart, SVP/Senior Lender has received this award, selected amongst 39 other bankers from across the United States. Justin joined Capitol Bank in 2007 and in addition to his primary role as a Commercial Lender, he oversees all commercial lending and marketing functions. Prior to banking, Justin served 7 years in the US Army National Guard as an Infantry Staff Sergeant.

Justin holds a Bachelors degree in finance from University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse and a MBA from Edgewood College, Madison. Justin was named to the In Business 40 Under 40 Class of 2017 and is in the Graduate School of Banking Class of 2021.
Justin gives back to the Madison community through his involvement as a Board Member at Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin and on the American Family Children’s Hospital Advisory Board. In addition, he is a voting member of the Madison Development Corporation’s Venture Debt Fund. Previously, Justin served as Co-Chair and Founding Council Member of the American Family Children’s Hospital Community Around the Children’s Hospital (C.A.T.C.H). Justin is a graduate of CIVITAS and Leadership Greater Madison Class #19.
