Capitol Bankers are very fortunate to have the renowned Graduate School of Banking (GSB) at the University of Wisconsin – Madison in our “back yard”.

Justin Hart

Justin Hart, SVP/Senior Lender at Capitol Bank, just completed Graduate School of Banking in the fall of 2021. But this is not a new endeavor for Capitol Bankers, as our history with GSB goes back much further.

Ken Thompson

Over the years, Capitol Bank has benefited from sending bankers through the Graduate School of Banking certificate programs and five employees have completed the entire 2-year graduate program. The program takes a deep dive into all aspects of banking, helping to create well-rounded banking professionals that better understand how their organizations function internally and within their respective markets. Capitol Bankers use the experience gleaned as opportunity to improve internal processes, customer experiences and relationships. It brings fresh ideas and perspective to our team, and also creates opportunities for bankers to network with others in the industry from across the United States.

Ken Thompson, President & CEO at Capitol Bank, was recently featured as the Graduate School of Banking alumni spotlight and reflects on the value he gained by completing the program. Click here to view the full article: https://gsb.org/PDFS/GSB_Enews_1121.pdf
