Can I select my ATM or Debit Card PIN online?
No, for security reasons, you must call Capitol Bank at 608-836-1616 and speak with a personal banker to receive information on creating your own PIN number.
Can I activate my Debit Card through online banking?
You must activate your debit card by calling 1-800-708-7119. Please have your new debit card on hand when you make the call. If you have troubles activating your card, call Capitol Bank at 608-836-1616 for assistance.
Can I use my Debit Card internationally?
Absolutely, but only after contacting Capitol Bank to preauthorize theses transactions. Due to increased security measures, no international transactions will be approved on your card unless you alert the Bank in advance. Please contact Capitol Bank 10 business days prior to traveling internationally, this will allow us to turn this feature on for your debit card. Please call 608-836-1616 to discuss your travel plans or use our Online Form to notify us of your destinations and dates.
What do I do if I lose my Debit Card?
In the event you lose your debit card, please call Capitol Bank immediately at 608-836-1616 so we can block your lost card and reorder a new card for you. If you lose your card after hours or weekends, please call 1-800-554-8969 to block the card. Please call back during business hours to reorder a new card.
What is my ATM or Debit Card PIN?
Your PIN is a 4 digit numerical code used to withdraw funds from an ATM or to make purchases at stores. The number is specific to your card.
