How it works - Every time you log in to Internet banking Premier MFA verifies your identity in two-ways. First, the bank identifies you, and then it lets you identify the bank using a private image and pass phrase.
Enroll for Premier MFA
To enroll for Premier MFA, follow these steps.
- Log in by entering your current Access ID.
- Click SUBMIT.
- Enter your current password.
- Click SUBMIT.
- Complete the Enrollment form.
- Provide a current e-mail address.
- Enter a pass phrase for the randomly selected authentication image.
- Provide answers for 3 challenge questions.
- Select whether you are logging in with your personal computer, or a public computer.
Only register personal computers that you frequently use and are not available for public use.
- Click SUBMIT.
That’s it. The next time you log in, Premier MFA will recognize you and display your private image & pass phrase.
Log in with Premier MFA
Once you have enrolled for Premier MFA, follow these steps to log in.
- Log in using your current Access ID.
- Click SUBMIT.
- Your authentication image & pass phrase are displayed.
- If they match your private image and pass phrase, then enter your password.
If the authentication image and pass phrase do not match, do not enter your password. Start over, or contact Capitol Bank for assistance.
- Click SUBMIT.
That’s it. You are now securely logged in to Internet banking.

Log in from other locations
There may be times you are away from a registered computer and need to securely access your accounts, follow these steps to log in.
- Log in using your current Access ID.
- Click SUBMIT.
- If Premier MFA does not recognize the computer you will be presented with your challenge question to correctly answer.
- Select personal or public computer.
Only register personal computers that you frequently use and are not available for public use.
- Click SUBMIT.
- Your authentication image & pass phrase are displayed.
- If they match your private image and pass phrase, then enter your password.
- Click SUBMIT.
That’s it. You are now securely logged in to Internet banking.
If the authentication image and pass phrase do not match, do not enter your password. Start over, or contact Capitol Bank for assistance.
Change your Image & Pass Phrase
There are thousands of images for you to choose from. To select the one that's right for you, just follow these steps.
- Log in by entering your regular Access ID.
- Your authentication image & pass phrase are displayed.
- If the authentication image and pass phrase are correct, enter your password.
- Click SIGN IN.
- Once logged in, Select Options from the main menu.
- Select Change Security Challenge Information.
- Select an image from the library.
- Enter a pass phrase for the image.
- Click SUBMIT.
That’s it. The next time you log in, your new authentication
image and pass phrase will be displayed.
